Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) Pre-Commencement Celebration
The Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) Pre-Commencement Celebration is a special event dedicated to recognizing student graduates of Middle Eastern and North African descent. This inclusive gathering celebrates the diverse identities within the MENA community. Come together to honor the accomplishments of our MENA graduates, fostering a sense of unity and pride as we celebrate their achievements. The ceremony also pays tribute to graduating students' families and the communities that contributed to their success. This in-person event will be hosted in April during National Arab American Heritage and Chaldean American Month. The celebration will run from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a networking dinner reception. Students will not be called on individually but celebrated and honored as a group.
The MENA Pre-Commencement Celebration is not an alternative graduation, but rather a celebration of success and is open to people from all backgrounds and identities.
