Vision

The Office of Multicultural Student Engagement (OMSE) celebrates the identities of all students by cultivating a safe campus environment where students feel a sense of belonging and are able to thrive socially and academically.

Mission

OMSE creates a student-centered space by collaborating across the campus and community to positively address and impact the development, retention, and graduation rates of under-represented/historically excluded students through initiatives and educational opportunities that focus on diversity, inclusion, belonging, equity, and social justice.

Our office is located on the seventh floor of the Student Center, and has excellent views of the New Center and the Fisher building. We have an exclusive space reserved just for students to come collaborate and study. The study space is open during regular office hours which are Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
