COVID-19: Our Plan to Support You
Note to Students about COVID-19
The Office of Multicultural Student Engagement (OMSE) seeks to cultivate a safe campus environment where we value, promote, and celebrate identities among all students who engage with our office. In this time of social distancing and online learning, we want you to know we are still here to support you in whatever way we can. We will be hosting weekly group chats and offering one on one chats to give students space to discuss whatever they may need.
If you would like to join our group chats, follow this link. We are currently available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-2 pm EST.
If you would like to schedule and individual chat, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
What services and/or resources are temporarily suspended?
We will not be hosting face to face learning community meetings, but if you are interested in our learning communities, reach out to Joseph Bradfield (email@example.com) for The Network or Kristin Johnston for RISE (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We will not be doing workshops or indenting training during this time, but if you need to know how to talk to your friends or family about sensitive topics, please reach out via email and someone will be in contact with you.
